A reference to the David vs Goliath story, and also a pun on the Chinese proverb, the play is a multi-media, multi-disciplinary, hilarious and satirical take on what is it like being SMALL in a big world.

It will be a highly accessible one-of-a-kind theatre-talk show production that will explore the psyche of being SMALL. i went with wailoon for the talk show without any expectation (since they are having fund-raising for the Drama Box)... yet the talk show surprised me with the acting, singing and the funny dialogues. The props and the story line were pretty simple... oh well, it's a local production. it was not bad overall... :) my favourite character is Ms Momoko, she was cute and very talented... good in acting and she is a languages genius! ha... worth watching.

my 1st christmas card

first time designing a christmas card using adobe illustrator. yea, i draw those little gift boxes using mouse! but then this look like those cheapo xmas cards (36 in a box) u can get from those bargain shops... hiakz... continous improvement needed! :P

onigiri - japanese rice ball

hmmn... bought the little bear head mould from daiso to make my japanese rice balls. initially wanted to add the black pepper chicken cube inside but the mould is too small! so end up only able to put in jap cucumber, crabstick, seaweed n sesame, fish floss, hot english mustard (taste exactly like wasabi, my fav!) mix with mayo into the rice balls (jap rice seasoned with vinegar).

tada~~~ aren't they cute?! my brother n irene (housemate) said they taste nice! wanna put in different ingredients next time! anyway... good try! :)

sarawak kolo mee, chinatown

last thurs dajie accompanied me to chinatown to get yan's birthday present... and she said this sarawak kolo mee is very nice. so we had our dinner there. max told me before it's kinda expensive for a little serving like this but i think the serving is just nice, i had more than enough. well, i love the texture of the noodle and they cook it very well... it's not the same as the "gan pua mee" i had in Sibu (sarawak)... this one is nicer, i find :P it's definitely better than Ah Heng's dried noodles we had last sunday, they have changed their noodle supplier! hiaks...

i never know my shifu can draw so well!!! su ann n teikhong in caricature! the color runs... it looks different from the psd file that i have leh... weird...

wedding invitations

after few adobe illustrator classes, i can do some simple designs with the help of my shifu. su ann is getting married n i offered to design her wedding invitations. my bro helped me with the digital photos (on the invitations) and i am doing the floral ones... more choices for her to choose. her wedding theme is lime green, which i find it hard... anyway i did try... (i did copy some ideas fr web..hehe..)

every friday night after cg, everyone is so looking fwd to refreshment time.

TADA~~~~homemade little burgers! very special, 不是???

wow it's incredibly nice... handmade patti (chicken mince + herbs + chrytz secret recipe), special cream sauce, black pepper sauce, cucumber and tomatoes.... wow... the meat was nice... go with the bun... YUMMMMMM... (*look at Yan*)

oh, this time Maria only helped to pan fry the patti, chrytz did most of the preparations... but we still love Maria a lot... she is our favourite now... we like her fried stuff. haha... thanks Maria... ohh, her name is titi! :)
