teenz camp 2009 'entheos!'

this yr camp was at glory beach resort, port dickson.
beautiful scene taken from our apartment... and this was not where we stayed :P

this yr i have a small group to lead coz sarah further her studies at KL; angeline was busy with her school activities; evelyn, janice, amy, stephanie had PKC Camp to attend.
the girls enjoyed pastor james preaching very much. pastor really caught their attention! the sermons really spoke to each of them, loving yourself, loving God wholeheartedly, loving parents, forgiving others, to control anger etc. The last sermon on anger really caught my attention. this camp was great coz we really bond one another :)

dajie's birthday

hweelie (my god-sister) requested to celebrate her 31st birthday on the exact day 31 May! yah... this yr 31st May, she is turning 31 yr old.
she said for the past many yrs zoe was in Aus and i was having teenz camp (eventho i got my teenz girls to sing a birthday song for her in the camp, lol), so this yr we have to celebrate on the exact day! she is really happy with the cake i bought and carried all the way from JB and the little cow birthday card i made. she always loves moo moo ;)

zoe, me, rene, vivian and hweelie.
a wonderful night :)

uncle frank's visit

  • i knew uncle frank since 1998.
  • he is one of the Overseas Christian Fellowship's pioneer in Hobart, Tasmania. he is very loving especially to the international students, he is always there to offer help. he is indeed a great blessing! i believe caleb can testify this. hehe.
  • after the demise of aunt jenny, uncle frank finally made his way to Msia and Sg for a month's holiday. yea, after 10 yrs. he is finally here. we, the ex OCFers, planned his trip to KL, East Msia, JB, SG... and we even came out a detailed schedule for uncle frank... lol. very organized.
  • i have no idea where to bring uncle frank to in JB. other than food, food, food and more food. lol. he said (in his strong accent) "don't worry honey, i do what you do, i want to be involved in your daily activities..." haha so you know where i brought him to... yea, FGC! he visited JB over the Good Friday weekend, so i brought him to TnT CG on fri, to Teenz on Sat, Gospel Drama on Sat night and Sunday morning service. lol... liuhan...

dinner with kelvin, ping, winnie, koktong. yea the tassie gang in JB!

also breakfast with caleb's family. uncle frank loves talking to uncle chandra and Jo. 3 of them kept laughing and laughing... dunno what they were talking bout. lol.
uncle frank at TnT CG... he hugged stella... lol.

with grandma and mum. he said he really enjoyed spending time with friends and he said FGC is a great church!

my last time meeting uncle frank was during my trip to tassie end of 2005. when i see him this time round, he aged a lot and took different type of medication to keep his health well. i'm so glad to see him again, what a wonderful blessing God has given to me. :)

'burst' is the word

i remember during my uni time in oz, we had so much food each day and 'full' is not the word anymore. when we are really really full, we name it "burst". no wonder i was once 85+kg... lol. maybe next time i should post a "before" and "after" photo of me... it would be funny. keke.

met lawrence and ahzou for dinner. these 2 BOYs can really eat.
we visited Botak Jones again and this time round we ordered a hawaiian pizza from the other famous italian food stall named "Picollo" at Clementi.
i am not a beefy person, i cant take the meat that is not cooked (same to those sashimi, i m not a big fan of it)... especially the steak in medium rare... arghhhh... the blood just came out like that... scary-nya... we had a large pizza (S$12), sirloin steak ($12.80), fish n chip ($7) and a burger ($6). everything was so big... my stomach is bursting!!! lol... made me feel like skipping 3 meals after eating this...

botak jones burger with a goyang-goyang egg yolk.
the patty is minced beef and also cooked in medium rare... argh, really not my type. lol.
